This will be a Wine Tasting provided by West Meon Wine Society with an interesting theme: "Nightmare in the Vineyard". The world of viticulture is undergoing radical reassessment as climate change affects vineyards in Europe and beyond.

About the event
Who would have thought that Sussex and Hampshire would have developed thriving world-class wines?
We shall be tasting 2 red wines, 2 white wines, a rosé wine and a sparkling wine, all from vineyards (including local vineyards) which are forward thinking in adapting to to the "nightmare" of change stalking the wine industry. We will learn about these far-ranging changes now taking place in wine-growing regions.
A simple "Ploughman's" will be served to accompany the tastings.
